Julie has about 20 years of multidisciplinary research experience. Her main interest is the use of imaging methods to tackle biological questions either in vivo, in situ, or in vitro. She is currently investigating the spatiotemporal dynamics of neurotransmitters using biosensors combined with modern optics in live tissues. She did 10 years of post-doctoral training in Canada, Germany, France, and Japan. She earned PhD in Radiation Sciences and Biomedical imaging, M.A.Sc in Chemical Engineering and B.Sc in Medical Biology.
