Oliver Strow is a high school Lab Technician currently working in the Tian Lab at MPFI. His current role at the institute primarily consists of cloning and purifying DNA strands to create novel sensors for neuromodulators. While working under Nikki Tjahjono, Oliver helped create a new far-red glutamate sensor, and now he assists graduate student Cameron Larson in his research aiming to unlock new information about the brain each day. When heโs not at the lab or school, Oliver enjoys swimming laps, line dancing, playing water polo and ultimate frisbee, and hanging out with friends. In the future Oliver hopes to get a biomedical engineering degree and pursue his interest in the medical field.
